Aryna Sabalenka

Sabalenka is a native of Minsk, the capital of Belarus. Sergey, her father (who passed away in the year 2019), was an ice-hockey player. Aryna Sabalenka was born in Minsk 5 May 1998. She holds 12 WTA titles in her career. This includes her Grand Slam of 2023 Australian Open. In her role as a specialist in doubles She also took home the US Open of 2019 as in addition to in the Australian Open of 2021 with Elise Mertens. The year she was born, she won two majors, the WTA 1000 and Miami Open in Indian Wells with her Belgian teammate, and completed her Sunshine Double. Four couples only managed to accomplish this feat on women's doubles. On the 23rd August of 2021, she rose to second position in the singles world ranking her best ranking reached again in January 2023.
